Counselling for Individuals

50 min. session (in-person or online services available)

Seeking help for our mental health does not make us weak, or mean that “something is wrong with me.” Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being at every stage of life, from childhood and adolescence, through to adulthood. Individual services can help clients work towards personal goals, build new coping strategies, and improve one’s quality of life. Please reach out if you are struggling with any of the following:

Counselling for Kids and Teens

50 min. session (in-person or online services available)

For clients ages 8-17. (Parental consent for child/youth to participate in counselling is required). Young people can suffer from mental health issues just like adults, and this can negatively impact their emotional, social, behavioural and academic development/performance. 
Counselling can help youth's ability to thrive in life and cope with life's challenges by providing support for a variety of concerns, such as: 
Anxiety
Depression
Emotional regulation
Social skills
Self-esteem
Parents' separation/divorce
Relationship challenges
Trauma

Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)

90 min. session (in-person only)

Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) is a form of psychotherapy with roots in existing evidence-based therapies but shown to achieve benefits much more rapidly (usually within 1-5 sessions).

It uses eye movements and image replacement to re-program your brain to reduce the intensity of emotional and physical responses to stressful memories, images or sounds. It is used to calm your nervous system to reduce the fight, flight, or freeze response.
